	For Sale: the Dark Horse. Recently extensively renovated. Includes 3-axel trailer, but not its slip in Santa Cruz harbor. GEAR: The boat is sold empty except for relatively new tan bark sails, some older sails, a GPS and a AIS receiver, with appropriate antennae. CONDITION: Recently extensively renovated HISTORY: The boat was moved to Santa Cruz from Indiana 2.5 years ago, so it has seen very little time in salt water. DESIGN: The Dark Horse is strong and seaworthy, with a cutter rig and a full keel with forefoot cutaway for tracking ability. The hull construction is hand-laid fiberglass, while the deck and cabin are fiberglass cored in balsa. It’s ideal for two but can sleep up to five. In the forepeak is a small double berth. Behind that is a head and hanging locker. The galley is generous and the dinette converts to a double berth. Lastly, is a quarterberth and cockpit with engine access below the cockpit floor.
