One of the most sea worthy convertible vessels ever built.

Twin 375hp Caterpillar diesels.

AIS, 2 VHF radios, 2-Furuno Chart Plotters.

Original Owner, Family Friendly.

Pearson Yachts developed several powerboat designs over the years, and in the early 1960s the Pearson name was no stranger to the powerboat industry.

The first 38 Convertible was introduced in 1988.

She was designed by Hunt Associates and features their famous deep-V hull and a practical two-stateroom floorplan.

This is a good-quality family cruiser/fisherman with attractive lines, a soft ride, and upscale interior accommodations.

Those who inspected the Pearson 38 were often impressed, especially with the well-finished interior and quality construction.

Hull construction, mechanical systems, and detailing are generally above average.

The engine room is very large for a boat this size.

Additional features included a bow pulpit, wide side decks, transom door, and a swim platform.

Standard 375hp Caterpillar 3208TA diesels cruise the Pearson 38 at a respectable 22–23 knots and deliver a top speed in the neighborhood of 26 knots.
